King who wanted to see GOD |

| There
was once a king who wanted to see God and he threatened all the priests
and wise men with the direst consequences if they did not succeed
in showing God to him. As they were deep in thought, along came a
shepherd who took the king to a meadow, pointed at the sun and said
, “Take a good look .” The king hardly tried when he had dropped his
head and screamed, “What do you want to do : blind me ?” “But your
majesty.” Said the shepherd ,” the sun is only one of God’s creatures
, a pae image of Himself . If you cannot look at the sun , how could
you ever look at God ?” - Willi Hoffsuemer |
In
the end, if it’s beauty you want, there’s no better way than to go
to the “original source of beauty” (Wisdom 13:3). Psalm 34:6 says.
“ Look to him That you may be radiant with joy.” Moses, no doubt,
experience this for “ the skin of his face had become radiant while
he conversed with the Lord “ (Exodus 34:29). The US survey revealed
that consumers wanted to see “ real women in real-life situations.”
The repetition of the world “real” seem to suggest a wearing for the
fake and fraudulent. People are sick and tired of having to wear masks
to catch up with what the world considers acceptable. Once and for
all, allow the truth to set you free. God says to you , “You are precious
in my eyes and … I love you” (Isaiah 43:4). Nothing else matters.

buy love |
| A
religious sister was speaking to a group of children about the
things money can’t buy. “It can’t buy laughter and it can’t
buy love”, she told them. To drive her point home, she said
“What would you do if I offered you a thousand pesos not to
love your father and mother?” |
| There
was complete silence. Finally , a boy stood up and said , “
How much would you give me not to love my big sister?” |

hostages,please |
| My
friend and I had just finished eating lunch at an expensive
restaurant. When we got our bill, we realize that we didn’t
have enough money. I talked to the waiter and told him that
my friend would stay while I withdrew some cash. With a frightened
look, the waiter said , ”I’m sorry, ma’am , we do not take hostages.”
